Who We Are

Gerri Moss and Tara Floyd are telling the story of their extraordinary friendship that began with a simple introduction at church and became solidified through the horrific murders of Gerri's husband and their two children. Thirteen years later, the women are still soul sisters, celebrating life and keeping the memories of Steve, Kristin and Bryan alive.

Faithful Friends

What makes a good friend?

Many of us find friendship through various means; some find a buddy in childhood and have hung onto the friendship for 20 years or more.  Others find friends through common interests like church, racing, fishing, cooking or playgroups.

Still others meet by happenstance; a witty comment in a slow moving grocery checkout line brings two like-minded people to talk long after the ice cream has melted in the basket and the milk has become warm in the trunk.

Or lastly, a friendship borne of Divine intervention.

We know personally how that particular friendship turned out. We live it every day.

We were introduced by Gerri's teenaged daughter Kristin one night just after bible study was ending.

Initially, we didn't think much about Kristin's strange introduction,"Miss Tara, this is my mom Gerri.  She's going to need a friend."

Less than a year later, we found out why.
